Jane Goodale

Knitting

Jane Goodale was born in Hertford, England and was taught to knit by her grandmother at an early age. She enjoys creating new patterns and finds knitting to be a wonderful way to relax. She started selling her sweaters in 2010.

 In 1964, she came to Massachusetts to work as a nanny for two little boys whose father was a professor at MIT.

 Shortly after that, she met her husband and this year, they are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. She has two sons and a granddaughter, and lives in Milford.

 She worked as a project manager for a fundraiser for the Special Olympics and retired in 2011. She has traveled all over the world. Working in her English garden and knitting are her favorite things to do when she and her husband are not exploring in the United States in their camper.
