Rozsi Moser

Mixed Media / Acrylic

Rozsi was born, raised, and educated in the Midwest in a home filled with artists, musicians and writers. Her passion for music has remained a constant in her life, as has her passion for appreciating and creating art.

Versatility is one of the primary components of Rozxi’s artwork. While her mixed media pieces can range from four to 12 inches square, she has also created canvases as large as six by six feet. She primarily works in acrylic, but also includes many types of printing and mark making in her work with graphite pencils, handmade stamps, crayons and pastels.

Rozsi loves to teach, and has led workshops for more than ten years in journal making, gelatin plate printing, mixed media classes, and abstract painting workshops.

She admires artists from the Impressionist and Fauvist eras. Strong influences include Mondrian, Rouault, Soutine, Macke, Delaunay, and also the works of artists such as Pollock, Herbin, and Rauschenberg.
