MIKE DRISCOLL

WATERCOLOR

Mike is a graduate of Natick High School, Class of ‘68, and that is where his art career began. Mr. John Buck, one of his art teachers, mentors and great friends, was instrumental in getting Mike into the Art Institute of Boston. He graduated from art school in 1972.

For more than 35 years, he has been an illustrator and storyboard artist. Back in the 80s, he headed the Illustration Department at Hill Holliday Advertising in Boston. He then went on to a freelance career with his own studio on Clarendon Street in Boston. His clients included: John Hancock, The Mass Lottery and New England Toyota. Mike is retired now and paints watercolors, runs a small frame shop and does the occasional illustration assignment, with a specialty in caricature. He is a member of the New Hampshire Art Association and the Deerfield, NH Art Tour, an open studios event held every October.
