I love the process of making art. I try to incorporate concepts that are fundamental and essential. Ideas or values such as truth, clarity, and strength. Illustrating these values help me successfully navigate through the emotional practice of making art.

A central thread I try to incorporate in all my work is one of inspection, simplification, and resolution. Its important to me that my work is meaningful and challenging, while keeping the viewer engaged. Every new project helps me improve in concept and technique. Each new image seems to provide one answer, while introducing several more questions. The questions are compelling and inviting. In this respect, I hope to continue to make art that illustrates, inquires and inspires.

I am a lifelong Natick resident, recently retired from teaching at Keefe Technical School after 30 years. I am creating landscapes and seascapes from the New England area, along with other designs that inspire me. I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy making it.
