Artist  Inspiration

My journey as an artist has been one of transformation.

The offerings of ever changing life experiences are the gifts that nourish my art.

While subject matter may evolve, what remains constant is my connection with the tactile sensuous nature of paint and the unexpected newness of its capacity.  In approaching a blank canvas the unknown could be perceived as an impediment.  For me it is the anticipation of a new truth that reveals something that otherwise would remain unknown.

It was once said,“the border between the known and unknown is the fruitful departing edge for all adventures  that lead  to  discovery. " Painting for me is one such surrendering adventure.

Gifts crafted by hand are treasured forever....
