Rosanne Romiglio Menard
Rosanne K. (Romiglio) Menard, is an
established fine artist and graphic designer. She was educated in the Fine
Arts Program at Alfred University in New York, then attended the Design and
Fine Arts Program at Rochester Institute of Technology in New York where she
received her B.A. in Fine and Applied Arts.
 For the past fifteen years, Rosanne’s fine art, jewelry and photography has been exhibited at various galleries across Maine, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She opened and operated 4 Winds Gallery from 2004 to 2006, which was located on the historical waterfront of in Bristol, RI.
Rosanne’s ancestral heritage is a
melding of Canadian French, Mi’kmaq, Malecite, Blackfoot and Italian. She has
intensively studied her native heritage and the spirit of her ancestors is
integrated heavily into her work. “My Ancestor”s Spirit” collection is a
reflection and an honoring to the teaching that have been past down and to
those who came before us.
She starting working with stones many
years ago while living in Blue Hill, Maine and started creating a line of work
she called “Grounding Spirals”. They are intended to bring about balance, a
sense of peace, and to help people in their lives. The sculptures bring a
grounding energy into the home they are intended to be placed somewhere in
your home where you feel you can take a deep breath and release the pressures
of the day.
