A New York designer, creates whimsical and incredibly unique pens from handmade paper beads. The beads are rolled from long strips of patterned paper around a brass core which uses a refillable ballpoint refill.( two refills are included with each pen and more are available from the artist). These beautifully designed and surprisingly sturdy pens have been written up in Pen World and have sold at The Philadelphia Museum of Art, the National Academy of Design, the New York Public Library Museum Store on Fifth Avenue, The American Crafts Museum Store as well as several other fine stores and galleries. Anyone interested in fine writing instruments or in a truly unique art form would find these extremely collectable. Each piece is like an unusual jewel that happens to write. These are produced on a fairly limited basis so some models may only be available for a short time
