Judith Rosenstein
I make simple, functional, one-of-a-kind vessels. I use a porcelain clay
body and a calm glaze intended to complement the color and texture of food.
The simple pieces are intended to be used for eating and serving food.

My work in clay is a metaphor for life: the creating, the changing, and the
discovery of what moves me, part of a spirit that I wrestle with. I am driven by
the endless possibilities and the challenge to clarify a design and explore a
shape. I work with the nuances of line and curve and hope to make something
beautiful that will bring pleasure. I try to create simple, calm, sensuous
vessels.
