In 1991 I created my studio trademark
"PARTS
of a Larger World"
®.
For me, the name is a humbling reminder that God has given each artist the gift
to create and all we create affects and is affected by life's experiences.
As an artist and designer I offer those who enjoy my work, a world of
fun art, functional art and anything in between. My art can be found in homes,
libraries, inns, places of business and fine artisan galleries like Five Crows.
Whether it is an artisan box or a five foot high sculpted book, each piece
begins with days if not weeks of sketching and designing. Selected designs are
finally crafted of wood and hand painted with a four step acrylic process then
clear coated for easy cleaning.
New designs are constantly being developed. Custom designs are always
available. In addition to artisan boxes I create centerpieces and table card
holders, people and pet portraits, home portraits, home and office accessories,
architectural accents, …and more.
