As a young child growing up in New Jersey, I would often sit alongside my father
copying (in crayons) the sketches he drew, the oils he painted or the wonderful
designs he waxed onto his pysanky (Ukrainian dyed eggs). Thus began a lifelong
interest in art and the glory of color.
For the past twenty years, I have lived and painted in suburban Massachusetts
using my self-taught methods in oil, acrylic and gouache to express my love of
God and life and all things living.
I find beauty in even the smallest of things and my brightly colored and
slightly abstract paintings use color and texture to display that beauty.
