I have been drawing for as long as I can remember. My Dad painted and introduced his only child to sketch studios in Philadelphia. Schooled at the Philadelphia College of Art, Dobbins commercial Art School of Practical Knowledge. Various courses in New York City studying advertising Worked at the Curtis Publishing Company and relocated with family to New Jersey. Art Director for Congoleum and Tarkett flooring companies. Moved to New England after becoming proficient in early computer graphics (to obtain a position in the changing art field). My three sons live here and I have a daughter in Atlanta. My strong graphics background is evident in the placement and flow of the sculpture. I have worked in clay, Plexiglas and now iron. Learned to weld at Snow Farm in Williamsburg, Mass. It has become a passion! Iron has been collected while motoring over the years through Maine, to New Jersey. Many pieces are hand forged and old. I love shiny surfaces and how they interact with the rusted iron. I have no clue from beginning how each will evolve. I share Caroline Cockrill’s clay studio in Holliston. Please visit!
